Our vision is to inform the NATIONAL college community as well as the Chapel Hill community about events and specials around town, not in terms of everything that is going on, but the BEST things going on. We do this through posting unique articles and advertisements for both local and national businesses. Who Are We?
After only two weeks of being in Chapel Hill during the summer, founders of ThrillsontheHill.com realized several key factors regarding social life in Chapel Hill:
- There is little information available to students during the summer. Marketing for summertime drink specials and events is scarce which leaves many party goers left scratching their head as to “where the crowd will be”.
- The summer social life travels in this large crowd.
- If that crowd is not at the bar, people will leave.
- If the bar is too crowded on a certain night, no one knows where to go.
We are not a company, but UNC students that recognize an opportunity and have the initiative to go all-out for it. Thrillsonthehill.com was developed with the sole purpose of tackling the daunting task of targeting and informing the summertime UNC students. Many social websites have attempted to do this and all were poorly executed and developed.
